Data we collect

Name, delivery and billing address, phone, e-mail, order history and, if you create an account, your account data. We collect only the data needed to process your order.

Why we use it and the legal basis

  • Performance of the contract: processing and delivering orders.
  • Legal obligations: invoicing and accounting records.
  • Legitimate interest: site security and handling complaints.
  • Consent: newsletter and marketing messages, only if you subscribe, with the option to unsubscribe at any time.

How long we keep data

Order data is kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Marketing data is kept until you withdraw your consent.

Analytics and advertising (only with consent)

With your consent in the cookie banner, we may use Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel for statistics about use of the website and to measure and optimise advertising. These services may receive data such as your IP address, device type, pages visited and actions on the site (for example viewing a product), and Google, Meta and TikTok act as processors or, where applicable, joint controllers under their terms. Data may be transferred outside the EU, based on the safeguards provided by the GDPR. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time as described in the Cookie policy. Without consent, these scripts are not loaded.

Who receives it

Couriers, payment processors, our accountant and IT service providers, strictly for the purposes above.

Cart reminders and review requests

Abandoned cart reminder. At checkout, as a guest, you can tick “Email me a reminder if I leave items in my cart”. If you do, we store your e-mail address, language and cart contents (products, quantities, value) and send you at most two e-mails: one after about an hour and, if you still have not ordered, one after 24 hours. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The option is not ticked by default and you can place the order without it. We do not send reminders if you have ordered in the meantime. Reminder data is deleted automatically after 30 days.

Review request. About 3 days after your order is marked as completed, we may send you a single e-mail asking you to review the products you ordered. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving our services (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), in connection with an order you have already placed with us; you have the right to object at any time. We keep a record that it was sent for 12 months so that we do not write to you more than once for the same order.

Unsubscribing. Every e-mail contains an “Unsubscribe” link. Using it, you will no longer receive cart reminders and review requests; we keep only your e-mail address on an exclusion list to respect your choice. Messages about your orders (confirmation, delivery, invoicing) are not affected. You can also write to contact@bunatati.eu at any time.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent. Write to contact@bunatati.eu. You may lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (dataprotection.ro).
